DD!

I got my first DD. I'm almost speechless and my poor English doesn't help I drew The Three Gates (Sleep, Wisdom, Final Gate) to deal with all the doubts I've had over the past few months. Getting a DD now just reminds me that whatever happens, I can't give up on art. The fact that you apreciate my works means the world to me. Nostalgia

Guys, look what I found. Something I've lost long time ago. It's a painting on A3, wich took me FOREVER to finish. It was done with the most shitty watercolor I've ever had and the way I used it is just terrible. It looks way better photographed, cause camera gave it more contrast, also you can't really see any of those awkward details. Especially this big frame ornament looks like a disaster, the raven and moon aren't actually that bad. BUT I was super proud of it as a 14 year old, I felt like the new da Vinci

Mam pytanko; na co kładłaś największy nacisk w swoim rozwoju; jakie ćwiczenia robiłaś najczęściej?

Hej, dziękuję bardzo! Szczerze to dopiero od niedawna cokolwiek ćwiczę i są to rzeczy typowo techniczne + odkurzanie podstaw, wcześniej było to działanie po omacku, ale dało nawet dobry rezultat. Dużo portretów ze zdjęć, później też całych postaci, z uwzględnieniem konstrukcyjnego rysowania proporcji. Nacisk kładłam zawsze na precyzję, najpierw dokładność odwzorowania, a później dokładne przedstawianie własnych wizji. Ważny był też dla mnie storytelling w ilustracjach, dlatego podpatrywałam to, jak moi ulubieni artyści grają gestem i kompozycją. No i zawsze myśląc o swoich pracach myślę "kontrast", więc umiejętność zabawy nim i światłocieniem też miała swoje znaczenie :>

Nie ma za co Dziękuję bardzo za komentarz. Właśnie jestem na etapie "działania głównie po omacku" (kilka miesiecy tylko zdobywałam jakąś wiedzę na kursach). Twoje wskazówki bardzo mi pomogły i mnie zachęciły.
